Wat is Ciúnas Dé?

Ciúnas Dé betekent de rust van God en dat is precies wat het is. De stilte is goddelijk met slechts het ruisen van de wind en het zingen van de vogels.
Het boerenhuis werd begin 1900 gebouwd. Het is omgeven door landerijen met schapen en koeien en biedt uitzicht op de bergen.

We hebben het huis eind 2002 van een kloostergemeenschap gekocht, het in zijn oude glorie hersteld, met veel liefde en zorg ingericht en er een tuin omheen aangelegd.
Nu willen we graag dit godsgeschenk delen met hen die behoefte hebben aan rust en schoonheid.

What is Ciúnas Dé

Ciúnas Dé means the quietness of God, and that is exactly what it is. The tranquillity is divine with only the rustle of the wind and the singing of the birds. The farmhouse was built in the early years of the twentieth century. It is surrounded by farmland with cattle, and has wonderful views of the hills in the distance.

We bought the house from a convent community by the end of 2002, after which we restored it to its former glory, furnished it with tender love and care, and landscaped a garden around it. Now we would love to share this godsend with those who have a need for peace and beauty.
